TO Health was created as a public–private cooperative to raise the profile of the Toronto region’s Health and Life Sciences (HHS) cluster. Funded by both government and private partners, the initiative aimed to position the region among the top five health clusters in the world. With a diverse set of stakeholders and shifting priorities, the work spanned strategy, events, product development, and cross-sector collaboration.

CABHI supports healthcare professionals, researchers, and entrepreneurs developing innovations in aging and brain health. Many early-stage projects face challenges with long-term adoption and sustainability—especially when moving from pilot to real-world use.

Awake Labs: Wearable Tech for Anxiety Monitoring
Awake Labs set out to commercialize hospital-based IP by developing a wearable tool that could help track and manage anxiety in real time. Built on research from Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital, the system needed to be translated into a usable product that could support individuals with cognitive disabilities, particularly those on the autism spectrum.

Brizi, now rebranded as AmplifiCam, created an innovative product that lets fans control remote cameras from their mobile devices to capture professional-quality photos of themselves and their friends in stadium seating. The challenge was to validate the experience in real-world contexts—ensuring usability, emotional impact, and ease of sharing during the high-energy atmosphere of live games.

Prototyping a Homecare Solution
Caribou, founded by Alex Oosterveen, set out to tackle one of the most pressing issues in healthcare: the caregiver staffing crisis. Home care organizations struggled to recruit and retain workers, and caregivers often lacked recognition, stability, and meaningful career pathways. The company, then known as Qualicare, needed to validate new ideas and test potential product directions.

Designing a P2P Learning Platform
Traditional education and workplace learning often fail to keep pace with how quickly skills evolve. People need ways to learn and share expertise in real time, outside of traditional courses or lecture based classrooms experiences. I wanted to design a platform that could embrace the reality that everyone is both a student and a teacher and help empower individuals to share what they know and map their learning journeys.

Despite a strong vision, the initial MVP struggled to deliver the dynamic and interactive experience needed to bring this mission to life.

BlockBank had a strategic imperartive to rebrand and establish a stronger brand for it's intitutional banking opportunities. The company was looking for a unified market position that could communicate trust and security while still supporting a modern consumer experience.
